COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Following evaluation at the Young Women's National Championship (YMNC), the U.S. Women's National Team head coach Anthony Farry named the 2021-22 USWNT roster as rising senior
Leah Crouse earned a spot on the squad.
Among the 36-athlete team, Crouse is joined by former Blue Devils
Haley Randall and
Jillian Wolgemuth. Randall and Wolgemuth most recently played on the USWNT European travel roster where they met Belgium and Great Britain for a pair of games each, May 15-23.
Throughout her career as a Blue Devil, Crouse appeared in 52 games with 30 starts. The Virginia Beach, Va., native has tallied 15 goals, 14 assists and 44 points. Prior to being elevated to the national team, she was on the U-21 USWNT.
The USWNT will resume centralized training at the beginning of August. The team will begin preparing for the 2022 Pan American Cup, an FIH Hockey World Cup qualifier, January 20-30 in Santiago, Chile. The USWNT will also partake in the third season of the FIH Hockey Pro League as its first contest will take place on Feb. 16, 2022.
