Five Blue Devils Collect All-ACC Academic Honors

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Five Blue Devils landed on the All-ACC Field Hockey Academic Team, as announced by the league office on Monday morning.

Duke was represented on the list with freshman Darcy Bourne, junior Caroline Hanan, seniors Lexi Davidson and Lily Posternak and graduate student Eva Nunnink. The honors come as the first for each Blue Devils' career.

Minimum academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative GPA during one's academic career. Athletic achievements during the most recent season are also considered in selecting the All-ACC Academic Team.

Since the All-ACC Academic Team was created in 2007, Duke has received 101 selections, including 75 during head coach Pam Bustin's tenure.

The ACC Honor Roll, which recognizes all conference student-athletes with a GPA of 3.0 for the current academic year, will be released in July.
