DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke swimming and diving program announced the addition of five new Blue Devils to make up its 2021 women's recruiting class.

The group of four signees includes three swimmers from Florida, North Carolina, Texas and China and a diver out of Missouri.

"We are thrilled to be welcoming Amaya Hanley, Margo O'Meara, Kyanh Truong, McKenna Smith and Yixuan Chang to Durham this fall," associate head coach
Doak Finch said. "They are talented athletes, bright students and fabulous people. We are excited to see them grow and excel while at Duke and beyond.

"Kyanh and McKenna bring speed and explosiveness to the team and will have an immediate impact in the sprint freestyle events and multiple relays. Amaya brings energy, enthusiasm and will look to challenge a deep and fast backstroke group. Margo brings national level experience and will challenge an outstanding group of Duke Divers. Yixuan's tremendous range and versatility will allow her to race and challenge competitors in multiple events right away."
