DURHAM – Former Duke assistant coach
Jesse Moore was named the head coach of the men's and women's swimming and diving programs at Dartmouth.

Moore served as an assistant coach on the Duke staff from 2012-2016, including a promotion to the director of recruiting and communication during his final season. While at Duke, Moore helped guide the Blue Devils to nine podium finishes at the ACC Championship, including third-place honor in the 100 butterfly by Leah Goldman and a second-place finish by the 200 medley relay team of Kaz Takabayashi, Peter Kropp, David Armstrong and James Peek in 2015.

On the national stage, Moore saw a then program-record seven swimmers reach the 2016 NCAA Championship on the women's side. In 2014, the women's program sent a relay team to NCAAs for the first time in program history while Christine Wixted earned honorable mention All-America honors in the 200 breaststroke. In addition, the relay team of Takabayashi, Kropp, Armstrong and Peek earned honorable mention All-America honors in 2016 at NCAAs with a 14th-place finish.

As a recruiter, Moore was responsible for four highly-touted classes from across the globe. The 2016 incoming class was tabbed No. 11 in the country according to SwimSwam.

After leaving Duke in 2016, Moore served as the associate head coach at Minnesota for five seasons before the recent change to Dartmouth.
