DURHAM, N.C. – Twelve different Blue Devils notched points Tuesday evening as the eighth-ranked Duke women's lacrosse team secured an 18-6 victory over Liberty in non-conference action at Koskinen Stadium.
With the win, the Blue Devils improve to 8-5 overall and the Flames dip to 6-6.

Catherine Cordrey (2), Cronin (1), DeBellis (1), DeSimone (1) and
Maddie McCorkle (1) and
Kay Conway (1) assisted over half of Duke's goals.
The four goals for Jenner and three from DeBellis tie their career highs as Duke saw a number of career firsts tonight, including Conway's and McCorkle's first career assists.
Duke got off to a hot start in the first half scoring 11 goals, while its defense limited the Flames to just three goals.
The Blue Devils jumped out to an early 8-0 lead with six of the tallies being assisted, led by Rosenzweig with two. Liberty saw its first goal at 15:35 in the first half (8-1) before Duke tacked on three more for a commanding 11-1 lead. Liberty connected on two goals, including a man-down score, to trail 11-3 heading into intermission.
Duke outshot Liberty 18-12 and connected on 3-of-4 free-position shots as the Flames committed 18 fouls in the first frame.
The two squads traded goals to open the second half before Duke went on a 5-0 run to lead 17-4. The Flames added two more to end the day with six goals on 14 shots on goal.

Sophia LeRose recorded six saves in the first half and ended the contest with seven (.636 save percentage) and just four goals against (10.35 GAA).
Duke won the battle of the draw 19-7 with Jenner continuing to lead the way with 12. Following her performance tonight, the Annapolis, Md., native now owns 309 career draw controls.
Defensively, Conway and
Katie Cosgrove paced Duke on the ground ball front with three each with Conway adding four caused turnovers.
The Flames were led by Mia Toscano and Brooke Bryan with two goals each.
Duke will remain in Durham to host Virginia Tech Saturday, April 17 for a 1 p.m., contest on ACCNX.
