Seamus Harding Jr. made his debut at the NCAA meet during the final day of the 2021 NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships on Saturday at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, N.C.

Two Blue Devils competed in the final day of the Championships, closing out a campaign unlike any other Duke swimming & diving season.

Harding Jr. competed in platform diving to make his first NCAA appearance. The Hillsborough, N.J., native placed 25th in the event after scoring a 299.40.

Matthew Whelan swam in the 200 butterfly to conclude his time at the NCAA Championships. A native of Richmond, Va., Whelan swam a 1:44.33 to place 29th in the event.
