BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Freshman
Margo O'Meara concluded her time at the 2021 USA Diving Winter Nationals on Friday, reaching the finals of all three events over the meet at Counsilman-Billingsley Aquatics Center in Bloomington, Ind.
After placing second in the synchronized three-meter diving on Tuesday, O'Meara reached the finals of both the individual senior women's springboard events. The St. Louis native placed fifth in the one-meter competition with a score of 500.75 on Thursday and sixth on the three-meter board (568.60) on Friday.
The nationals continue through Saturday and results from the meet will be used to select the United States team for the Aquatic World Championships set to take place in May in Fukuoka, Japan.
Junior
Ali Watson is slated to compete in platform diving to close out the meet for the Blue Devils. Preliminaries will start at 12:40 p.m. with finals to follow at 5:45 p.m.
