O'Meara Tabbed ACC Diver of the Week

DURHAM – Freshman diver Margo O'Meara was named the ACC Women's Diver of the Week, the organization announced Tuesday afternoon.

O'Meara, a native of St. Louis, Mo., won both the one- and three-meter boards over the experienced Georgia Tech diving squad in No. 24 Duke's 199-101 win against the Yellow Jackets. She scored 319.50 on the one-meter springboard and 348.98 on the three-meter. O'Meara remains undefeated on both boards this season as the Blue Devils improve to 4-0, the program's best start since 2015-16.

Duke returns to action at the NC State/GAC Invitational at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, N.C., November 18-20. The Blue Devils will be one of nine teams competing, joining NC State, Stanford, Penn State, Arizona State, Army, North Carolina, UNC Wilmington (diving only) and James Madison (diving only).
