2012 – Women's Soccer – Duke University standouts Kelly Cobb and Mollie Pathman helped the United States knock off defending champion Germany, 1-0, on Sept. 8, 2012 to win the 2012 FIFA Under-20 Women's World Cup in Tokyo, Japan.
September 10
2016 – Athletics – Duke University enshrined seven new members into the school's Athletics Hall of Fame on Sept. 10, 2016 at a ceremony in Cameron Indoor Stadium. The class includes Shane Battier (basketball), Dan Brooks (coach), Mary Dinkins (administrator), Grant Hill (basketball), Ed Meadows (football), Virada Nirapathpongporn (golf) and Kelly Walbert Cagle (soccer).
September 11
2017 – Women's Golf – The Blue Devils carded an 18-hole school-record, 269, in the first round of the Jim West Challenge, before finishing the 36-hole opening day with a school-record 26-under-par, 542.
September 12
2017 – Women's Golf – With rounds of 269, 273 and 277 for a 54-hole total of 819, the Blue Devils claimed the Jim West Challenge. Leona Maguire registered her eighth collegiate victory as she turned in a school and tournament-record 13-under-par, 200, with rounds of 67, 63 and 70.
September 13
2011 – Men's Cross Country – Duke freshman Morgan Pearson was named the ACC Men's Cross Country Performer of the Week following a first-place finish at the James Madison Invitational. Pearson led the field of 79 runners at JMU, posting a time of 25:01.5 on the 7900-meter course. His performance also helped the Blue Devils take first among the seven teams in competition, improving the Duke men's record to 7-0 on the season.
2014 – Men's Cross Country – The Duke men's cross country team took first place among five programs at the James Madison University Invitational. The Blue Devils won the meet in convincing fashion, placing four runners in the top five of the field en route to a combined team score of 22 points. Junior Blake Udland led the way for Duke, finishing second among all competitors with a 7900-meter time of 25:08.8.
