Over the next few weeks, GoDuke.com and @DukeMGOLF will run a series of features on the favorite holes for each member of the Duke men's golf team. The players and coaches were asked to pick the three favorite holes they've ever played and provide a scouting report on how best to attack them. Be sure to check @DukeMGOLF on Twitter on Instagram each Thursday to cast your vote on each of our players' dream holes!

Drew Powell is up next in our Dream Course series and the Holden, Maine native keeps it in the east with his three favorite holes. Powell's off first with the par-4 eighth hole at Kebo Valley in his home state of Maine and moved south to Duke's course with the par-5, risk-reward 11th. Powell brings it home with the home hole at the famed Oakland Hills Country Club in Michigan, which hosted the Ryder Cup in 2004 and three PGA Championships.
Powell's #1 Favorite Hole: 8th hole at Kebo Valley GC (Bar Harbor, Maine) – 435 yards – Par 4
In Powell's words: "The eighth at Kebo Valley is a challenging, dogleg left par 4 with a penalty area down the left side with Cadillac Mountain – the highest peak in Acadia National Park -- in the background. The green is very small and slopes hard from right to left. Ideally, you take it down the left side off the tee to shorten the dog leg, then play your approach left of the hole. Anything right of the hole is almost an automatic three-putt."

Powell's #2 Favorite Hole: 11th hole at Duke University GC (Durham, N.C.) – 573 yards – Par 5
In Powell's words: "This long par 5 at Duke is a challenging way to start the back nine. It's a dogleg left with a large downslope about 295 yards from the tee and a creek short of the green. You can either try to turn a draw off the tee and run it down the slope, allowing you to get home in two for a chance at eagle, or you hit it on top of the slope and play it as a three-shot hole."
Powell's #3 Favorite Hole: 18th hole at Oakland Hills CC South Course (Bloomfield Hills, Mich.) – 498 yards – Par 4
In Powell's words: "The 18th at Oakland Hills is about 480 yards par 4 dogleg right. Many deep bunkers lining a tight fairway, so you need to find the fairway. The approach is uphill to a green with numerous slopes and guarded by several deep bunkers. Ideally, a high fade into the fairway then a high iron shot landing on the correct tier on the green."
