Booth Reviews: Top 10 Win Sparks Blue Devils

Duke women's basketball play-by-play announcer Chris Edwards is giving fans an inside look at some of his memorable basketball moments throughout his four years as the Voice of the Blue Devils. The events highlighted during this series are not meant to be a complete listing of all memorable accomplishments, but a sampling of great moments in Edwards' words.

During the course of the college basketball season, it is never too early to start racking up quality victories. That is exactly what the Blue Devils did during November of the 2017-18 season as they secured a pair of wins over two top-25 clubs which included a victory over Oregon State 72-65 and then, just five days later, Duke toppled No. 8 Ohio State in the ACC/Big 10 Challenge, 69-60, on Nov. 30, 2017.

In that game against the Buckeyes, the Blue Devils placed four players in double-figures including a double-double by senior Erin Mathias.

The win over Ohio State would be the first of two victories of top-10 teams that season as the Blue Devils finished the season 24-9 with an appearance in the Sweet 16.
