2005 – Women's Lacrosse – Duke women's lacrosse head coach Kerstin Kimel was named ACC Coach of the Year after leading Duke to a 12-3 record during the regular season and securing the top seed in the ACC Tournament. The award was Kimel's fourth ACC Coach of the Year nod in the last eight seasons. Junior Katie Chrest was named ACC Player of the Year. The three-time ACC Player of the Week led the ACC in goals per game (3.64), points per game (4.64) and draw controls per game (2.93) in addition to scoring the most goals in a single season in Duke history with 54 at the time.
April 28
2013 – Men's Golf – The Blue Devils blazed to the 2013 ACC title by shooting 25-under – a program record in the ACC Tournament – overcoming Florida State in the final round. Three of the top 10 individual finishers came from Duke, with Adam Sumrall (-8) taking fifth, while Brinson Paolini (-5) and Julian Suri (-5) each finished tied for seventh.
2018 – Softball – The Blue Devils recorded the program's first ACC run-rule victory with a 9-1 feat over Virginia at the Duke Softball Stadium. Seven Blue Devils tallied a hit while Jill Ferraro and Dominique Salinas each recorded two. Amelia Wiercioch notched her 10th victory in the circle, hurling 3.2 innings while allowing just one run and four hits, before Peyton St. George threw 1.1 frames and earned one strikeout. With the win, Duke secured the series and went on to sweep with a 5-1 win the following day.
April 29
2016 – Men's Lacrosse – Justin Guterding scored 40 seconds into overtime to complete Duke's 10-9 comeback win over fourth-ranked Notre Dame in the ACC Championship semifinal in 2016. The 13th-ranked Blue Devils outscored the Irish 6-1 in the final 20 minutes to come away with the win. Myles Jones, after being held scoreless for 52 minutes, came up with the unassisted tying score to force overtime. The Blue Devils won possession in overtime and called a timeout. Jones had the ball in his stick and found Guterding who threw it in the net for the memorable goal.
April 30
1963 – Men's Basketball – The AP Player of the Year and the MVP of the Final Four in 1963, Art Heyman became the first Blue Devil taken with the No. 1 pick in the NBA Draft. Heyman was selected by the New York Knicks in the 1963 draft and would go on to average 13.0 points and 4.7 rebounds in his pro career that latest seven seasons.
2015 – Football – Former Duke offensive lineman Laken Tomlinson was selected in the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft by the Detroit Lions as the 28th overall pick. At the time of his selection, Tomlinson, a 6-3, 330-pound offensive guard from Chicago, Ill., was the highest Blue Devil draft pick since Mike Junkin was a first round choice of the Cleveland Browns in 1987. He also became just the sixth Duke player to be selected in the first round of the draft and was the first Blue Devil offensive lineman to be chosen in the NFL Draft since Drew Stronjy went in the seventh round to the New York Giants in 2004. Tomlinson became the Duke's fifth consensus All-America selection in 2014 and was named to eight All-America teams, the most by any player in a year in program history. Tomlinson was a first team selection by the Associated Press and Walter Camp Foundation, a second team honoree by USA Today, Athlon Sports and Sporting News, a third team choice by Phil Steele Magazine and Lindy's and an honorable mention pick by Sports Illustrated.

2005 – Women's Lacrosse – Duke women's lacrosse won its first-ever ACC Women's Lacrosse Championship by beating defending national champion Virginia, 9-6, in Baltimore, Md. Kristen Waagbo and Rachel Stanford each scored a hat trick to help lift Duke past the Cavaliers for the first time in school history in postseason play. ACC Player of the Year Katie Chrest was named Tournament MVP and became the first student-athlete in ACC history to earn ACC Rookie of the Year (2003), ACC Player of the Year (2005) and ACC Tournament MVP (2005).
2014 – Men's Lacrosse – Jordan Wolf became the first Duke player to earn the ACC Offensive Player of the Year award since the league divided the player of the year honor into Offensive and Defensive in 2012. This honor was one of countless achievements for Wolf, who is widely considered one of the best players to wear a Duke jersey. Wolf helped lead Duke to consecutive NCAA titles in 2013 and 2014 and still ranks third in Duke history in career points with 304. He was the first Blue Devil to earn All-ACC honors in each of his four seasons and also was the first Duke player to score 100 points in a season when he finished with 103 in 2014.
