DURHAM, N.C. – The No. 23 Duke women's lacrosse team (4-3) opens a five-game home stretch versus No. 12 Virginia on Saturday at Koskinen Stadium in Durham, N.C. Opening draw is scheduled for 1 p.m.
The game will be broadcast on ACC Network Extra with Ben George and Dana Boyle on the call.
The Blue Devils are back at home after a loss at Notre Dame, 13-9. The Blue Devils surged back in the second half but were unable to make up the halftime deficit in their ACC opener.

Duke faces Virginia for the 40th time in program history as the Cavaliers travel to Durham Saturday for the second week of ACC play. Virginia leads the all-time series 25-14 and currently holds a three-game winning streak over the Blue Devils. In the two programs' last meeting, the Cavaliers snatched a 17-12 victory at home in Charlottesville.
Virginia enters the game tabbed the No. 12 team in the country. The Cavaliers are 5-2 so far this season, with their two losses coming from Richmond and top-ranked North Carolina. In addition, UVA holds a trio of top-20 wins this season, toppling No. 15 Navy 14-13, No. 20 Stanford 12-11 and No. 9 Princeton 12-10.
Senior Sammy Mueller leads Virginia in five stat categories, goals (18), assists (six), draw controls (27), ground balls (26) and caused turnovers (12). Charlie Campbell has played every minute for the Cavaliers in the goal, tallying 66 saves.
Duke is 56-55 (.509) all-time in Atlantic Coast Conference play since 1997. The Blue Devils finished sixth in the ACC last season after amassing an ACC record of 2-5. Duke's two wins came over Virginia Tech and Louisville.

The Blue Devils are one of the most efficient teams in the country in the attacking third. Duke is averaging 18.14 goals per game in 2020, ranking fourth nationally and second in the ACC. Duke ranks fourth in the country and first in the ACC in both shots per game (36.57) and shots on goal per game (29.00).
