1986 – MEN'S BASKETBALL -- Duke beats Navy, 71-50, in the East Regional final in East Rutherford, N.J. to send Coach K to his first Final Four. Johnny Dawkins scored 28 points, and Duke overcame a 23-point, 10-rebound effort by David Robinson. The Blue Devils downed Kansas in the National Semifinals in Dallas, before falling to Louisville in the National Championship.
2014 – MEN'S LACROSSE -- Sophomore midfielder Deemer Class scored 10 points and Myles Jones and Jordan Wolf added five goals apiece as No. 3 Duke cruised past sixth-ranked Syracuse in the first ACC matchup between the two teams. The 10 points by Class were one shy of the school single-game record. Faceoff specialist Brendan Fowler won 24-of-31 draws and picked up a career-high 18 ground balls and sparked Duke's ability to scored 10 straight goals over a span of 12:23 for an 11-2 lead early in the second quarter.

1990 – MEN'S BASKETBALL -- Duke beat UConn, 79-78, on a buzzer-beating 15-foot jumper by Christian Laettner in the East Regional Final in East Rutherford, N.J. The win allowed the Blue Devils to become just the seventh program in college basketball history to make three straight Final Fours.
1991 – MEN'S BASKETBALL – Duke's 78-61 win over St. John's in the Midwest Regional Final in Pontiac, Mich., allowed Coach K to join John Wooden as the only male to coach in four straight Final Fours. Duke went to win the first of two consecutive National Championships.
2012 – FENCING -- Duke fencing senior Becca Ward captured her third NCAA Championship on the national stage in women's saber in Columbus, Ohio. The Portland, Ore., native, who also won the 2009 and 2011 NCAA Saber Championships, became the fifth women's fencer in NCAA history to win three national titles and the first to win three NCAA Saber Championships. Ward, a four-time All-America honoree, is the only fencer in Duke history to win multiple national titles.
2019 – MEN'S BASKETBALL – Zion Williamson leads Duke with 32 points as the Blue Devils defeated UCF in the NCAA Tournament Second Round, sending the Blue Devils to the program's 27th Sweet 16. Williamson's 32 points were the most by a Duke freshman in an NCAA Tournament.

1978 – MEN'S BASKETBALL -- Duke beats Notre Dame, 90-86, at the Final Four in St. Louis to send the Blue Devils to the 1978 NCAA Championship Game. Mike Gminski scored 29 points, Gene Banks had 22 points and Jim Spanarkel had 20 as Duke shot 55 percent from the field in beating Digger Phelps' Fighting Irish.
2002 – WOMEN'S BASKETBALL -- Led by a game-high 24 points from Alana Beard, the Duke women's basketball team knocked off 13th-ranked South Carolina, 77-68, to advance to the program's second NCAA Final Four in school history. Monique Currie added 15 points, while Michele Matyasovsky (12) and Krista Gingirch (10) scored double-digits. The Blue Devils hit 50.0 percent from the field for the contest.

2016 – MEN'S LACROSSE -- Senior midfielder Deemer Class scored seven goals and nine points overall and Chad Cohan scored 53 seconds into overtime to lift No. 9 Duke to a 16-15 win over No. 5 Syracuse at Koskinen Stadium. Duke trailed 14-10 heading into overtime, but three goals from Class gave the Blue Devils their first lead of the day. The Orange tied the game with 3:29 left setting up Cohan for the winner.
1999 – WOMEN'S BASKETBALL -- In Duke's first NCAA Final Four appearance in San Jose, Calif., the Blue Devils took down 12th-ranked Georgia, 81-69, to advance to the program's first NCAA Championship game. Paced by 22 points from Nicole Erickson and 20 points by Michele Van Gorp, the Blue Devils hit 50.0 percent from the field and drained nine three-pointers in the victory.

1992 – MEN'S BASKETBALL – In what many consider the greatest game in the history of college basketball, Duke beat Kentucky, 104-103, on an overtime buzzer-beater from Christian Laettner in the East Regional Final in Philadelphia. With 2.1 seconds remaining in overtime, defending national champion Duke trailed 103–102. Grant Hill threw a pass the length of the court to Laettner, who faked right, dribbled once, turned, and hit a jumper as time expired for the 104–103 win. Laettner didn't miss a shot in the game, finishing with 31 points (10/10 FG, 1/1 3FG and 10/10 FT).
2006 – WOMEN'S BASKETBALL -- Duke advanced to its third NCAA Final Four in five years and fourth overall as it No. 8 Connecticut, 63-61, in overtime to win the Bridgeport Regional. Alison Bales led the way for Duke en route to earning MVP honors for the Bridgeport Region with 15 points while Monique Currie added 14 and Abby Waner came up with 10 points off the bench for the Blue Devils. Waner was also named to the All-Tournament team for the region while Currie hit 7-of-10 from the free throw line, including all four of her free throws in overtime, and added nine rebounds for the Blue Devils
