DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke women's lacrosse team (3-2) is back on the road for a two-game road swing this week. On Wednesday, the Blue Devils travel to Williamsburg, Va., for a weekday tilt versus William & Mary College at 5 p.m. The game will be broadcast on Stretch Live.
Following the contest in Virginia, Duke heads to No. 2 Notre Dame on Sunday for a 1 p.m., opening draw. That game will be broadcast on ACC Network Extra.
The Blue Devils hit the road after a 21-6 win over George Washington.
Caroline DeBellis led Duke with six points on two goals and four assists while
Anna Callahan recorded her first career hat trick (three goals and one assist). Duke had a season-high 12 assists in the contest.

Duke faces William & Mary for the second consecutive season and 21st time in the series history on Wednesday evening at 5 p.m., in Williamsburg, Va. Duke leads the series 17-3 and has won 17 straight since 1999.
William & Mary enters the contest with a 1-3 record. Led by first-year head coach Colleen Dawson, the Tribe averages 10.25 goals per game. Most recently, W&M fell at Richmond, 9-22. Sophomore Belle Martire has 16 goals, which leads the team and conference while placing her tied for 10th nationally.
Duke is 33-7 versus teams from the Colonial Athletic Association all-time. Since 2000, Duke is 29-2 versus CAA opponents with its lone losses to Elon and James Madison in 2016 and 2001, respectively.

Jenner Establishes Herself in the Circle

Maddie Jenner took over the primary draw control duties after assisting her sister last season. Maddie and Olivia combined to make Duke one of the most potent teams in the country inside the circle, leading the country in draw controls per game and second in draw control percentage.
This season,
Maddie Jenner has taken the brunt of the draw controls and leads Duke in the category with 57 through the opening four games of the season. Her 11.4 draw controls per game leads the nation. As a team, Duke is first in the ACC and third nationally in draw controls per game, averaging 20.6 per contest.
Hats Off for Callahan
Sophomore attacker
Anna Callahan recorded her first career hat trick on Feb. 22 versus George Washington. Her three goals and an assist also set a career-high in total points with four. Callahan also netted the first free position goal of her young career, going 2-for-2 from eight meters against the Colonials.
Her hat trick was just nine days later than when she posted a career-high two assist performance against Wofford (Feb. 13).
Sharing the Wealth
Duke's 12 assists versus George Washington was the most in a single game this season and ties for eighth most in Duke history. With 21 goals and 12 assists, the Blue Devils scored 33 points in the game against the Colonials, ranking tied for ninth with the most points earned in a contest in program lure.
Barry's Three-Game Tear
Junior midfielder
Catriona Barry scored 12 goals in Duke's three-game span versus Northwestern, Wofford and Navy. Versus Northwestern, Barry set a career high with four goals. In the following two games, Barry matched her mark and netted four in each.
Barry's 14 goals this season are more than any single season in her career. In addition, she is approaching her single-season record for points, as she sits three shy after just five games. Her 54 career points tie for 47th in the Duke charts.

Caroline DeBellis currently leads Duke in points and assists with 27 and 15, respectively, and sits among national leaders in both categories. She has tallied multiple assists in all but one game this season.
Those 15 assists has her fourth in the nation while her 27 points makes her sixth. With 15 assists, she already sits tied for seventh in assists among Duke freshmen in Blue Devil history. Her 27 points tie for 18th in freshman list. In addition, DeBellis ranks 13th in the country and third in the ACC in shot percentage, putting 75 percent of her shots in the net.

The Blue Devils are one of the most efficient teams in the country in the attacking third. Duke is averaging 19.6 goals per game in 2020, ranking fourth nationally and second in the ACC.
