How did you get started in rowing?
PK: My grandmother insisted that I try rowing, so I did a learn-to-row camp at my club. After a week, I had fallen in love with the sport.
Why did you choose Duke?
PK: I chose Duke because it felt like the perfect fit for me. A great team and great academics – there was nothing more that I could ask for.
What has been your favorite rowing memory?
PK: I do not know if I can choose just one favorite memory. My favorite memory is a blend of all the small moments I have spent with my team laughing and enjoying life.
