DURHAM, N.C. – Duke wrestling fell Saturday morning to No. 10 Pittsburgh, 50-0, during the teams' first ACC matchup of the season.
The Blue Devils found themselves down 30-0 early after two falls (133 and 157 pounds) and three forfeits at 125, 141 and 149.
The Panthers, who came in ranked in the top-10 in this week's NWCA Coaches Poll, had three ranked wrestlers compete Saturday, including No. 6 Mickey Phillipi (133).

Harrison Campbell to start things off but Campbell eventually succumb to a pin at 4:01.

Kai Blake also had to face off against nationally ranked foes at 174 and 184 pounds, respectively. Eaglin dropped a 15-6 major decision to No. 19 Gregg Harvey, while Blake fell to No. 9 Nino Bonaccorsi via a fall at 1:50.
Rookie
Jonah Niesenbaum tried
to close out the match on a high note for the Blue Devils at 285 pounds though. The Allentown, Pa., native battled hard against Pitt's Cole Rickert but ultimately dropped a 3-1 decision to the junior.
Duke will return to the mat again next Friday when it travels to nearby North Carolina for an ACC showdown at 7 p.m. The rivalry dual will be streamed live on the ACC Network, with TrackWrestling providing live stats.
