Event and Promotional Notes
- Parking will be available in both the grounds lot off of Science Drive or in the Science Drive Garage. It is free of charge.
- There are a host of promotional events going on Friday, weather permitting, in conjunction with the ACC matchup.
- Early arriving fans will receive a free vuvuzela – so come early and make it a home field advantage for the Blue Devils.
- In recognition of Friday the 13th, all Jason's will receive free admission. Please present a valid ID to the ticket booth to pick up your ticket for the game.
- There will be a local food truck on site for fans to grab dinner before the game or at halftime. Look for the food truck around the stadium from 5-7.

Breaking Down the Blue Devils
- Duke jumped to No. 2 in the United Soccer Coaches poll after adding two more victories to their total this past weekend. The Blue Devils are off to a 4-0-0 start for the first time since 2015.
- Senior Daniele Proch is living up to the preseason hype, scoring five goals in four games. Classmate Max Moser has been lethal off the bench the past two games and has four assists overall. In all, five different Duke players have a goal this season.
- Defensively, Duke has been outstanding in allowing just one goal in four games and sacrificing only 4.5 shots per game. Sergi Nus is the anchor at center back, while Ian Murphy and Hassan Pinto have manned the flanks the past two games.

Familiar Foe
- Duke graduate student Sergi Nus will be facing a familiar foe in Virginia Friday night. Nus was a two-time All-ACC defender for the Cavaliers before missing last season to a torn ACL.
- Nus graduated from Virginia in December and found a home at Duke both athletically and academically. He is enrolled in Duke's one-year Master of Liberal Arts program.Â
- At Virginia, he played center back and was a scoring threat on set pieces with nine career goals in two seasons. He earned All-ACC third team recognition as a sophomore and second team honors as a junior.
- Played nearly 4,000 minutes in his two seasons in Charlottesville.

About Virginia
- Virginia comes to Durham unbeaten and unscored upon. The Cavaliers are ranked sixth in the latest coaches' poll and sport a 3-0-0 overall record, including a 2-0 victory over reigning NCAA Champion Maryland. Virginia's most recent win was a 1-0 shutout of High Point this past Saturday.
- Irakoze Donasiyano has two goals to pace the scoring, while Daryl Dike has a goal and two assists. Two other Cavaliers have contributed a goal and an assist. Virginia is averaging nearly 15 shots per game.
- Defensively, Virginia has allowed 27 shots overall in three games and held Maryland to just five. Only eight of its opponents' 27 shots have been on frame for Colin Shutler to turn away. Shutler is one of 12 goalkeepers yet to allow a goal.
