Setting the Scene...
   After being home for the last five contests, the Duke women's basketball team (6-2) will hit the road Wednesday, Dec. 4 for the Big Ten/ACC Challenge as the Blue Devils will take on Nebraska (7-1) at 7 p.m. (ET) in Lincoln, Neb. Wednesday's contest will be played at Pinnacle Bank Arena. Â
   The game will be aired live on the Big Ten Network with Larry Punteney (PXP) and Brenda VanLengen (Color). It will also be carried on the Duke Sports Network via WDNC AM 620, TuneIn app and www.GoDuke.com with Chris Edwards (PXP) on the air beginning at 6:45 p.m. (ET).
What is Next?...
   Duke will return home to Cameron Indoor Stadium Sunday, Dec. 8 to open ACC action against Boston College at 2 p.m. The game will be aired live on ACC Network Extra.Â
Three Keys...
   1) Over the last four games,
Haley Gorecki has averaged 22.5 points, 6.8 rebounds, 5.8 assists, 2.5 steals and 0.8 blocks during Duke's four-game winning streak. She notched two double-doubles in both points/rebounds and points/assists during this stretch.
   2) Duke owns a 10-2 all-time mark in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge, including four straight victories. The last loss was to Nebraska in 2014.

Leaonna Odom has averaged 17.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.0 steals. She has hit 58.7 percent of her field goals. Odom is coming off notching a season-high 23 points and a career-high 16 rebounds for her first double-double of the year. Â

Haley Gorecki leads the Blue Devils with 57 free throw attempts and is hitting 89.5 percent from the charity stripe. Her 51 free throws made ranks second in all power five conferences and ranks tied for fifth nationally. Â

   •   Duke will feature almost a 2-inch height advantage over Nebraska, when the two teams hit the hardwood Wednesday. The Cornhuskers feature a 71.92 average height, while Duke owns a 73.21 mark. The Blue Devils are the tallest team in the ACC in 2019-20.
   •   The 93 points in the season opener was the third-most by a Duke team under the direction of head coach
Joanne P. McCallie -- 104 in 2009-10 and 98 in 2016-17.
   •   Duke features the fourth-tallest squad in school history standing with an average height of 73.21. The three tallest teams were in 2016-17 (73.38), 2011-12 and 2014-15 (73.25).

The Series with Nebraska...
   Duke travels to Lincoln, Neb., Wednesday to take on Nebraska for the third time in program history. The Blue Devils are looking to avenge their most recent loss to Nebraska, which occurred in 2014 on the road.    Overall, the series is knotted at 1-1. Â
   Nebraska owns a 4-1 mark at home this season with the lone loss coming against Creighton (79-74).
   Coach P is 1-1 when coaching against Nebraska, boasting a victory in the 2013 NCAA Tournament, in the Sweet Sixteen.
Duke Versus the Big Ten Conference...
   Duke enters Wednesday with an all-time mark of 70-54 record against Big Ten Conference opponents – Illinois (0-3), Iowa (1-1), Maryland (41-40), Michigan (4-0), Michigan State (2-1), Minnesota (1-1), Nebraska (1-1), Northwestern (0-2), Ohio State (2-0), Penn State (5-1), Purdue (6-3), Rutgers (4-2), and Wisconsin (3-0).   Â
   Coach P is 100-71 through her career against the Big Ten, having coached in the conference from 2001 to 2007, with her 100th win having come last year in a 60-53 victory on the road over Wisconsin.
   Earlier this season, Duke dropped a 63-42 decision to Northwestern in Cameron Indoor Stadium.
Blue Devils in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge...
     Duke enters the 2019 ACC/Big Ten Challenge with a 10-2 record in the yearly event. The Blue Devils downed Wisconsin, 60-53, last year in the event and holds a 4-2 record on the road in the challenge. It marks the first time in the challenge history that Duke will play on the road in two straight years.
   It marks the second time the Blue Devils have been sent to Nebraska for the challenge as Duke dropped a 60-54 decision to the Cornhuskers in 2014. Â
   The ACC has won eight of the 11 previous Challenge titles with 8-6 record a year ago.

Haley Gorecki continues to move closer to the 1,000-point mark as she is only 24 points shy of becoming the second Blue Devil this season to reach 1,000 points and the 35th overall Duke player to hit the mark. Â

Miela Goodchild will go up against a former teammate Wednesday in Nebraska's Isabelle Bourne. The duo competed together over the summer for Australia's silver medal winning squad at the FIBA World Cup in Bangkok, Thailand.
Slow December...
   After playing four games over a span of nine days to conclude the month of November, Duke will only play four games in December -- Dec. 4, Dec. 8, Dec. 19 and Dec. 30. Three of those games will be on the road.
From the Charity Stripe...
   The Blue Devils have made an ACC-best 136 free throws and attempted an ACC-best 191, while hitting 71.2 percent from the line. The percentage ranks fifth in the league.
   Duke's 136 attempts and 191 made free throws rank third among power five schools.

Akinbode-James Coming on Strong...
   In three out of the last four games, sophomore
Onome Akinbode-James has registered double-digit scoring. During that stretch, she has averaged 9.0 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.3 blocks. Â
   Akinbode-James collected her second collegiate double-double against Davidson with 12 points and 12 rebounds, while blocking three shots. Â
   Over the last two games, she has averaged 11.0 points10.0 rebounds and 2.0 blocks. Akinbode-James has hit 11-of-21 field goals in those two games. Â
