DURHAM, N.C. -Â The Duke rowing team will conclude its fall slate this weekend, heading to Charlottesville, Va., to compete in the Rivanna Romp on Sunday morning.

The Blue Devils will send a haul of boats into action their final weekend of the fall with five varsity 8+, five varsity 4+, and one freshmen 8+ boat. The varsity 8+ boats will begin the day's competition at 10 a.m., followed by the varsity 4+ boats and the freshmen 8+ boats, which both begin at 11:30 a.m.

Duke earned a first-place finish in its lone race of the fall, as the club 4+ boat took the top spot at the Head of the Charles earlier this fall. The freshmen fivesome of
Ginger Del Real,
Alice Elworthy,
Emilie Lijesen,
Lauren Sizemore and
Caeley Tierney each competed in the first collegiate race, as the Blue Devils finished first.

The Rivanna Romp will take place at the Rivanna Reservoir, which is located just outside of Charlottesville, Va., and will include several other schools from across the region. The regatta is organized and hosted by the University of Virginia. The Blue Devils look to continue their success, after posting a pair top-five finishes a year ago in Charlottesville.

Sunday's race will mark the end of the fall season for the Duke rowing team. Â
