DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke women's golf program will be honored Friday evening during the Duke men's basketball Countdown to Craziness.  The Blue Devils are expected to be recognized between 7:30-8 p.m., with the opening tip slated for 8:25 p.m., in historic Cameron Indoor Stadium.
 
The Blue Devils will be recognized for winning their seventh NCAA Championship last May in Fayetteville, Ark.  After finishing third in stroke play and earning the No. 3 seed in match play, Duke went on to knock off Stanford, Arizona and Wake Forest to post its first NCAA title since the championship moved to match play in 2015.
 
Head coach 
Dan Brooks, who is entering his 36th season with the Blue Devils, now owns seven NCAA Championships, which is the most by any women's golf head coach.  Six of the seven members of the 2019-20 Duke women's golf team will be on the court for the recognition – senior 
Ana Belac, junior 
Hannah O'Sullivan, junior 
Miranda Wang, junior 
Jaravee Boonchant, freshman 
Megan Furtney and freshman 
Erica Shepherd.  Assistant coach 
Jon Whithaus will also be on the field along with Brooks to be honored.  Sophomore 
Gina Kim will not be present due to a conflict.
 
Duke will next compete in the East Lake Cup Oct. 28-30 at the East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Ga.
