DURHAM, N.C. - Blue Devils past and present had a chance to come together in October during the Duke women's lacrosse 20th anniversary celebration. Following a scrimmage between the current and alumnae squads, members of the current team caught up with former Blue Devils to talk about their time on campus and as a part of the Duke program.
Junior Isabelle Montagne spoke with 2007 graduate Kristen Waagbo, who was a two-time All-American on attack. Waagbo guided the Blue Devils to the 2005 ACC Tournament title and three NCAA semifinals appearances before joining the coaching ranks. This past weekend, Waagbo directed Army West Point to the first win in program history as the team's head coach.
