DURHAM, N.C.—The December and final installment of the 2016 Duke men's lacrosse coaching clinics is set for Tuesday, Dec. 6 beginning at 7 p.m. The clinic features the Duke lacrosse staff teaching everything from drills to improve basic skills, team defense or offense and building a team culture.
The clinic will be held in the Murray Building team room and it will begin at 7 p.m. Those not able to attend in Durham can watch live on GoDuke.com. An archive of the clinic will be available Wednesday afternoon or early evening for anyone who might have a schedule conflict or for those who want to watch again.
In November, the coaching staff discussed "To Clear or Not to Clear" and talked about the basic principles of clearing, the skills necessary and then discussed specific plays the Blue Devils run when going against various rides. The clinic finished with video breakdown of practice and games to display how to clear with visual evidence.
Head coach John Danowski and his staff love to hear where people are watching and welcome any questions about lacrosse so e-mail Meredith Rieder – meredith.rieder@duke.edu to submit comments or questions for the coaches.
Parking is available on Frank Bassett Drive and the entrance to the building remains the same on the door near the football concourse.
