DURHAM, N.C. – Guests traveling to the Duke University West Campus on Saturday, October 24th should be aware of the following parking and traffic alerts. In addition to the Duke Women's Basketball Blue/White Scrimmage at 1:00 PM, Duke Athletics will also be hosting Duke Women's Lacrosse Fall Tournament on the Bassett Drive Practice Fields. Please review the information below and leave extra time in your travels to avoid delays. A parking lot map for these events and directions to all parking areas are located in the “Related Links” accompanying this alert. DUKE WOMEN'S LACROSSE PARKING INFORMATION
General Public Parking for Women's Lacrosse – Guests attending the Duke Women's Lacrosse Fall Tournament can find general public parking on a first-come, first-serve basis in the 751 Lot off of Science Drive and the Grounds Lot off of NC 751/Cameron Blvd starting at 7:00 AM. There is no charge to park. Driving directions for these parking areas are provided.
General Public Parking for Persons with Disabilities for Women's Lacrosse – Guests with disabilities attending the Duke Women's Lacrosse Fall Tournament can find accessible parking on Frank Bassett Drive off of Science Drive. An accessible drop-off and pick-up point for the Bassett Drive Practice Fields is located at the complex entrance on Frank Bassett Drive. Please see the attendant at the entrance to Frank Bassett Drive for access to the parking area. There is no charge to park. Driving directions for Frank Bassett Drive are provided.
DUKE WOMEN'S BASKETBALL TRAFFIC ALERTS
Towerview Road Construction at Union Drive – Due to active construction on Towerview Road near Union Drive, traffic in this area of Towerview Road will be restricted to one lane. Temporary traffic lights will control vehicle flow through the impacted area. Guests accessing the Card Gym Lot for game day parking are strongly encouraged to access campus at the intersection of Duke University Road and Towerview Road to avoid delays.
No Thru Traffic from Frank Bassett Drive to Grounds Lot – Due to construction outside the West Gate of Brooks Field at Wallace Wade Stadium, there is no thru traffic from Frank Bassett Drive to the Grounds Lot. All guests parking in the Grounds Lot must enter and exit the lot from NC 751/Cameron Blvd.
DUKE WOMEN'S BASKETBALL PARKING INFORMATION
Game Day Parking for Duke Women's Basketball – Guests attending the Duke Women's Basketball Blue/White Scrimmage can find game day parking on a first-come, first-serve basis in the Grounds Lot off of NC 751/Cameron Blvd. and the Blue Zone Lots located on Wannamaker Drive off of Duke University Road beginning at 7:00 AM and in the Card Gym Lot off of Towerview Road beginning at 10:00 AM. There is no charge to park. Driving directions for these parking areas are provided.
Game Day Parking for Guests with Disabilities for Duke Women's Basketball – Guests with disabilities attending the Duke Women's Basketball Blue/White Scrimmage can find accessible parking in the Whitford Lot located on Whitford Drive off of Science Drive beginning at 7:00 AM and in the Science Drive Visitors' Lot off of Science Drive beginning at 11:00 AM. There is no charge to park. ADA lift-equipped van service will begin at 11:00 AM to assist guests to/from the Science Drive Visitors' Lot to Cameron Indoor Stadium.
Game Day Accessible Drop-Off and Pick-Up – An accessible drop-off and pick-up point for Cameron Indoor Stadium is available on Whitford Drive from 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM and in the Science Drive Visitors' Lot beginning at 11:00 AM. ADA lift-equipped van service will begin at 11:00 AM to assist guests to/from the Science Drive Visitors' Lot to Cameron Indoor Stadium. After drop-off, guests should proceed to game day parking. Post-game pick-up will be located in the Science Drive Visitors' Lot.
Bus Parking for Duke Women's Basketball – is located in the Blue Zone Lots located on Wannamaker Drive off of Duke University Road. The lot will open at 7:00 AM. There is no charge to park.
