"A great day for Duke Friday at the Penn Relays with two school records and a win in the high jump," commented Director of Track & Field Norm Ogilvie . "The women's SMR second place was particularly impressive, as Duke beat everyone except prohibitive favorite LSU. Cydney Ross ran an awesome 2:03.8 anchor. Big toss for Austin Gamble in the discus and a great come-from-behind win for Tanner Anderson in the high jump with his highest jump so far this spring."
The men's sprint medley relay team, consisting of senior Marcus Wright, junior Ben Raskin, redshirt junior Curtis Beach and freshman Michal Filipczak finished 18th overall with a time of 3:25.73.
