GoDuke.com: Name your three favorite things about being a student-athlete at Duke.Ross Cockrell: Number one, just being part of a team and having a family on campus. Number two, just being at Duke. I love Duke. I love the culture and the atmosphere here. Number three, you get the best of both worlds – you get a great education and you get to play football.
GoDuke.com: What is your favorite 'on the field' memory?RC: When we beat UNC. Having the fans rush the field, that's something I'll probably never forget.
GoDuke.com: What is your favorite 'off the field' memory?RC: Two years ago, I went to King's Dominion with a couple of teammates and we had a good time up there.
GoDuke.com: Describe coach Cutcliffe in three words.RC: Always telling stories.
GoDuke.com: Name three things you would like to do in the next 10 years.RC: I would like to play in the NFL, I would like to finish my master's and I would like to start a family.
GoDuke.com: Who are three people you model your game after?RC: I try to just create my own style.
GoDuke.com: What are three foods you can't live without?RC: My mom makes these porkchops and rice and gravy. I love that, I can't live without that. Bananas. And peanut butter and jelly.
