DURHAM, N.C.- The Duke men's soccer team will be hosting the first round of the NCAA tournament on Thursday, November 17. Game time is set for 7 p.m. and they will be facing the Georgia State Panthers. Recently, GoDuke.com sat down with senior defender Julian McIntosh to learn more about the Santa Rosa, California native.
GoDuke.com: Do you have any superstitions or pregame rituals?
Julian McIntosh: No, but I try to get the locker room a little before we have to be there so I can listen to music.
GoDuke.com: What's the most embarrassing music you have on your iPod?
JM: Britney Spears.
GoDuke.com: What's on your bucket list?
JM: Make a lot of money, travel.
GoDuke.com: What's your favorite home cooked meal?
JM: Smothered pork chops and rice.
GoDuke.com: What's your favorite class at Duke been?
JM: Social Psychology of Business.
GoDuke.com: What's your toughest class at Duke been?
JM: They're all pretty hard, but I'd say Latin.
GoDuke.com: Who's had the biggest impact on your life?
JM: My family (mom, dad, brother) because I am so close with them.
GoDuke.com: If you could trade places with anyone for a day, who would it be?
JM: Batman.
GoDuke.com: Who would your dream date be?
JM: Halle Berry.
GoDuke.com: Favorite place to eat in Durham?
JM: Fishmongers.
GoDuke.com: What's something you wish you knew how to do?
JM: Read and play music.
GoDuke.com: Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
JM: Hopefully visiting Duke with a lot of money in my pocket and a family. Hopefully still close to my family and connected to Duke.
