DURHAM, N.C.-The second of five coaching clinics put on by the Duke men's lacrosse staff will take place tonight, Oct. 19 from 7 -9 p.m., in the Murray Building squad room. For those who can't make it on campus can tune in live on GoDuke.com for the free live video stream live.
The second clinic will cover more in depth the fundamentals of lacrosse and coaching. The coaching staff will talk about the lessons the team learned after the Team USA exhibition game first and then will follow with skills coaching on ground balls, wing play and the faceoff game.
They will address drills that are good to do for various aspects of the game and will talk about their philosophy regarding certain fundamentals of the game. There will be film analysis used throughout to help demonstrate each aspect and the coaches will show what is done right and what is done wrong.
