DURHAM, N.C.-For the fourth consecutive season and the sixth time overall, the Duke University men's lacrosse team will be playing in the NCAA Semifinals over the Memorial Day Weekend. The Blue Devils will take on top seed Virginia on May 29 at 6:30 p.m., at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Md.
Iron Dukes member and Blue Devils fans can purchase tickets through the Duke Ticket Office. Tickets from Duke's allotment from the NCAA are $86 for all sessions. Fans may call 919-681-2583 through 11 a.m., on Wednesday, May 26 to place an order. Tickets also can be purchased online at www.goduke.com/tickets.
Seeded fifth, Duke advanced to the semifinal round after defeating ACC rival and No. 4 seed North Carolina 17-9 in the quarterfinal. The Blue Devils are 14-4 overall and have won 12 of their previous 13 contests. Averaging 17.50 goals per game, Duke owns the highest scoring offense as well as the largest scoring margin at 10.5.
The Blue Devils will face Virginia for the third time this season and for the second time as the No. 1 team in the nation. Duke defeated the Cavaliers on April 17 in Charlottesville, but Virginia came back six days later to beat the Blue Devils en route to the ACC Championship.
Tickets outside of Duke's allotment also can be purchased through TicketMaster online, by phone or any TicketMaster location OR by calling the Baltimore Ravens Ticket Office at 410/261-RAVE (7283). Tickets are sold as an All-Session Package, which includes a ticket to all three days. There are no single game tickets available until the week of the event, if tickets are still available. We are expecting very large crowds and encourage fans to order tickets early. All seat locations are reserved seating.
