The event will be held on the campus of the University of Maryland in conjunction with the NCAA Final Four weekend. Senior Game participants will face off against the U.S. National Team as well as against each other in a series of four, 25-minute sessions.
"I'm honored to have been given the chance to represent Duke in the senior game," Ferger said. "It was a fun ending to my career and I enjoyed playing with seniors from all over the country. I am proud to have played for Duke for four years and the senior game was a nice way to wrap things up."
Ferger has been a four-year starter for the Blue Devils, totaling 28 goals, eight assists and 64 points during her four-year career in Durham. Despite missing four games due to injury this season, she still ranked second on the squad in goals (4) and points (8). Ferger was named to the 2010 Longstretch/NFHCA All-South Region second team for her efforts and has garnered NFHCA Academic All-America recognition in her career as well.
