DURHAM, N.C.-The Duke University lacrosse teams are well represented on this year's edition of Inside Lacrosse's Laxie Awards presented by Lax World. Ned Crotty and Caroline Cryer are nominees for a combined three awards as voted by the fans.

Crotty is one of six nominees for Division I Men's Player of the Year and one of six choices for the Breakthrough Performance of the Year. The native of Vernon, N.J., was named the USILA Attackman of the Year after moving to the position for the first time in his Duke career. He earned All-America first team honors after finishing the season with 23 goals and 55 assists for 78 points. He led the nation in assists and ranks seventh in career assists for the Blue Devils. Crotty also was selected to the U.S. men's national training team in preparation for the 2010 Federation of International Lacrosse World Championship.
Cryer turned in a stellar senior season in headlining the Blue Devil offense with 83 points from 45 goals and 38 assists. She closed out her career ranked third in career points with 250. A Tewaaraton Trophy nominee, Cryer was selected to the US Lacrosse and IWLCA as first team All-Americas. She most recently helped lead the United States to the gold medal at the 2009 FIL World Cup. She tallied a team-best three goals in the 8-7 championship game.
