DURHAM, N.C. - Former Duke All-American and two-time National Player of the Year Jason Williams went 7-1 in his career against North Carolina, including a 2-0 mark in the ACC Tournament. In those eight games, Williams averaged 22.1 points and 5.3 assists per game and had three 30-point outings against the Tar Heels. In a 93-68 rout of Carolina on March 2, 2002, Williams poured in a game-high 37 points on 12-of-22 shooting from the floor, including 8-of-15 shooting from behind the three-point line and 5-of-6 shooting from the foul line.
