Men's Lacrosse Lands Eight Preseason All-Americans

DURHAM, N.C.-Eight members of the Duke University men's lacrosse team have been selected to the Inside Lacrosse/Face-Off Yearbook Preseason All-America Teams. The Blue Devils landed three players on the first team, tied for the most of any team in Division I lacrosse.

Senior attackman Ned Crotty, senior defenseman Parker McKee and junior defenseman Michael Manley all were voted to the first team, while senior attackman Max Quinzani, senior faceoff specialist Sam Payton and sophomore longstick midfielder CJ Costabile earned second team recognition.

Sophomore midfielder Justin Turri picked up third team accolades and senior midfielder Steve Schoeffel rounded out the Blue Devil contingency as an honorable mention pick.

The Blue Devils' seven members on the top three teams are the most by a single school with defending national champion Syracuse coming in second with six representatives.

Duke officially kicks off its season on Feb. 13 against Bucknell in Atlanta, Ga.
