DURHAM, N.C.-The Duke University men's lacrosse team will have four games televised by the ESPN family of networks during the 2010 regular season. All three of the Blue Devils' ACC contests and the matchup at Georgetown will be televised by ESPNU.
Duke makes its 2010 television debut on March 6 against Maryland at the annual Konica Minolta Face-Off Classic in M&T Bank Stadium. The Blue Devils and Terrapins are scheduled to face off at 11 a.m.
Four days later on March 10, Duke will host North Carolina for the annual Carlyle Cup contest on ESPNU at 7 p.m. The Blue Devils defeated the Tar Heels three times last season, including wins in the ACC Championship game and the NCAA Quarterfinal contest.
Duke's non-conference game at Georgetown on March 27 and the final ACC contest with rival Virginia on April 17 round out the Blue Devils' 2010 television schedule. Faceoff against the Hoyas is set for 12 p.m., in the nation's capital, while Duke and Virginia will battle at 8:30 p.m., in Charlottesville, Va.
The Blue Devils closed out the 2009 season with a 15-4 overall record, winning their third consecutive ACC title and advancing to the NCAA Semifinals. Duke welcomes back 36 letterwinners and seven starters from the 2009 squad.
