Fifteen Blue Devils Named To 2008 All-ACC Academic Men's Lacrosse Team

DURHAM, N.C. - Led by two-time national player of the year selection Matt Danowski, Duke placed a league-high 15 student-athletes on the 2008 All-ACC Academic Men's Lacrosse Team released on Thursday by the conference office.
Catalino, McDevitt, O'Hara and Ward each made their third All-ACC Academic Team appearance while Chris Loftus, McKee, Payton, Quinzani, Ross, Schoeffel and Young are repeat picks.
Seven student-athletes earned both All-Academic and All-Conference honors in 2008 including Danowski, McDevitt, Quinzani, Rubeor, Maryland's Jeff Reynolds, North Carolina's Grant Zimmerman, and Virginia's Danny Glading.
To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during his academic career.
