DURHAM, N.C.?The Duke University men's lacrosse free coaching clinic scheduled for Dec. 16 was cancelled due to a conflict with women's basketball and construction on campus. There will be three clinics, two in January and one in February, to make up for the cancellation.
The two clinics in January are scheduled for Jan. 14 and Jan. 28. The final free coaching session will be on Feb. 10. Duke University men's lacrosse head coach John Danowski and his assistants Ron Caputo and Chris Gabrielli hold free clinics for lacrosse coaches of all levels who would like to learn more about the game of lacrosse.
The sessions run about two hours and cover various aspects of the game during the two-hour span. The session begins with analyzing film and an open forum discussion. Various Blue Devil players also will come out to help demonstrate ideas talked about in the open forum and also to speak to the group.
To RSVP for the event, e-mail Erin Cobb at: ecobb@duaa.duke.edu. There is unlimited space at each session.
