Limited Spots Still Available For The True Blue Golf Classic

DURHAM, N.C.?The Duke women's basketball program will hold the first annual True Blue Golf Classic on Monday, Oct. 27, which will be held at the Washington Duke Inn & Golf Course. There are limited spots still remaining for the tournament and if you are interested contact Lauren Rice by Oct. 15.

Head Coach Joanne P. McCallie, the women's basketball staff and members of the 2008-09 team will be in attendance as everyone will play golf, eat and enjoy a day of fun with friends and fans. At the conclusion of the golf outing, there will be lunch & a silent auction in Scharf Hall. The silent auction will include one-of-a-kind items, including autographed items as well as the chance to bid for traveling opportunities with the Blue Devils. All money raised will go towards the Duke women's basketball program.

The classic will begin at 8:00 a.m., with registration and a bagel breakfast. The golfers will tee off with a shotgun start at 9:00 a.m., followed by lunch, awards presentation and the silent auction.
