Upcoming Event: Track & Field versus Duke Invitational on April 8, 2026

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. and STANFORD, Calif. --- The majority of the Duke outdoor track and field team competed Saturday in the second day of the UNC Invitational in Chapel Hill, N.C. The Duke women placed second with 120.5 points and the men finished in third place with a total of 99 points. Meanwhile, three Duke women ran long distance events at the Stanford Invitational in Stanford, Calif. All told, five women qualified for the postseason and four marks made the top-five all-time Duke records.
Women's: Freshman Alexa Revord continued her highly successful first outdoor season in the discus and the shot put at UNC. Revord threw the discus 154'-06,” which placed her second at the meet and improved the Duke record that she had set last week at Wake Forest. It also qualified her for the ECAC Championships in Princeton, N.J. from May 11-13. In the shot put, Revord moved up to third on the all-time Duke record list with her toss of 40'-09.75.”
Sophomore Michelle Seibert ran a 2:10.95 in the 800 meters on Saturday morning, which won her the event at UNC. It also qualified her for the ECAC's for the first time this season.
At Stanford, Elle Pishny ran in the 5,000 meters and placed 16th with her time of 16:47.62. She qualified not only for the ECAC's with that run, but for the NCAA East Regional, which will take place May 25-26 in Gainesville, Fla.
In the 10,000 meters, both senior Sally Meyerhoff and sophomore Maddie McKeever had good runs at Stanford. Meyerhoff finished in ninth place with a time of 33:30.12, and qualified for the ECAC's and NCAA East Regional with that time. She also improved her third-best mark in Duke history in the event. McKeever went 33:52.95 in the 10,000 meters and placed 14th. She also qualified for the ECAC's and NCAA East Regional, and moved into fifth place on the Duke record list.
The Blue Devils next competition will be when they host the Duke Invitational on Apr. 6-7 in Wallace Wade Stadium. It is the first event Duke has hosted this year in cross-country or track and field.
