Tennis Duo Named Student-Athletes Of The Week

DURHAM, N.C. ? Amanda Granson and Melissa Mang of the Duke women's tennis team have been named the Ronald McDonald House Charities Student-Athletes of the Week.
Granson and Mang joined forces this week to win the doubles championship at the ITA Southeast Regionals in Chapel Hill. Granson and Mang defeated the No. 2 ranked doubles team in the country from Clemson in the semifinals, then knocked off a tandem from UNC on the Tar Heels' home court for the championship.
The victory sends Granson and Mang on to the ITA National Indoors tournament next weekend at Ohio State.
Mang is a junior from New Orleans, while Granson is a sophomore from Hilton Head.
