Duke's Cornet Finishes Day Two at the 2002 NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships

Duke sophomore Lauren Cornet took in 33rd place in the 100-yard breaststroke at the 2002 NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championships at the University of Texas on Friday afternoon.

Cornet, who is the sole representative from Duke at the meet this year, finished 42nd in the 200-yard IM on Friday and will swim the 200-yard breaststroke on Saturday. This is the second trip for Cornet to the NCAA Championships after she qualified in the same events as a freshman in 2001.
