Blue Devils fall to Wolfpack
RALEIGH, N.C. (November 9)-- The Duke men's and women's swimming teams were defeated by North Carolina State 138-79 and 153-88 respectively. The loss drops Duke to 1-2 on the season.
Several Blue Devils won their respective events. Sophomore Ryan Harsch won the 200-meter backstroke in 1:56.21, freshman Ryan Spoon won the 200-meter breastroke in 2:20.32 on the men's side and freshman Lauren Afflixio won the 200-meter fly in 2:10.25.
Next up for the Duke swimming program is a dual meet at North Carolina tomorrow at 5 p.m. in Chapel Hill.
