Kester, who was named to the All-Southeast Region second team in 1996, led the Blue Devils and finished the 1999 regular season tied for first in the ACC in goals scored with 14. The first-team All-ACC selection also led Duke, who finished 13-10 overall and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament, with 29 points. Kester closed out her collegiate career ranking second among all-time Duke leaders with 78 career points and 35 goals.
Fuller, also a second-team All-ACC selection, finished her rookie campaign with three goals and one assist. She was named to the Golden Gate Classic All-Tournament team in October and earned a spot on the Soccer America Team of the Week after scoring the game-winning goal in overtime versus Wake Forest.
Including Kester and Fuller, Duke has had 30 players earn All-Southeast Region honors over 12 seasons of intercollegiate soccer.
