Rodney Wiltshire begins his fifth season as an assistant coach. Wiltshire arrived at Duke in the fall of 1997 to work on molecular genetic analyses of adult and pediatric brain tumors. He is currently a Research Associate in the Department of Pathology at Duke University.
Wiltshire began fencing at Case Western Reserve and was a member of the varsity team. During his senior season, he captained the foil squad. He continued fencing at Michigan, started coaching and began competing at national and international levels.
Wiltshire is a 1990 graduate of Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. He then received his Ph.D. in Human Genetics in 1998 at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
