Kain Gonzalez joined Duke Athletic Medicine in 2025 as an Athletic Training Fellow with the football program.
Gonzalez has gained hands-on experience at the collegiate and professional levels, supporting Florida State’s men’s basketball, football, women’s soccer and men’s tennis teams. He also worked with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Iona men’s lacrosse, University of North Florida beach volleyball and Creekside High School.
A native of Brewster, N.Y., Gonzalez earned a Master of Science in Athletic Training from the University of North Florida in 2025, following a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Florida State in 2023. He has been a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association since 2023.
