Prior to Duke: Lettered four years in track & field at Concordia Lutheran High School in Tomball, Texas, under the coaching tutelage of Bobby Lindquist and Jacob Vasquez…two-time state champion in the 4x100 as a junior and senior, capturing gold at both the 2014 and 2015 Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS) State Track & Field Championships…finished runner-up at the 2015 state meet in the 4x200…placed third in the 400 at the 2014 state championships, crossing the line with a 49.53 showing…selected to the TAPPS all-state boys track & field first team in 2013, 2014 and 2015…was a four-time TAPPS academic all-state first team honoree from 2012-15…also lettered three years in football as a safety and wide receiver…as a three-year starter at defensive back, garnered TAPPS Division I all-state second team honors and was selected to the all-district first team in 2013 and 2014...member of the National Honor Society.
Personal: Son of David and Carla Satterfield…born Aug. 4, 1996 Spring, Texas...has one sister, Reagan…mother, Carla, played soccer at the University of Arkansas (1990)…aunt, Cara King, was a 1996 graduate of Duke and played soccer for the Blue Devils (1992-96)…also a 1996 graduate of Duke, uncle, Mike King, was a member of the Duke baseball team (1992-96)…aunt, Caren Doiron, played soccer at the University of Texas (1998)…uncle, Adam Doiron, was a member of the University of Texas football team (1998).
