Schlesinger improved her Duke school indoor record in the triple jump to 40-3.50 in 2002 as she earned All-East honors for the second time at the ECAC meet in Boston. Also the school record holder outdoors at 41-5.75, Schlesinger looks forward to her final year as a collegian as an opportunity to fulfill the promise she demonstrated as a prep, when she won three national triple jump titles. That was before she suffered a serious hamstring injury during her final high school competition. At Duke, Schlesinger slowly rehabilitated her leg and together with Coach Jan Ogilvie has come almost all the way back.
