Junior: Earned a share of his first school record at Duke when he ran third leg on the 4X400 relay at the Tyson Invitational which clocked 3:16.17 ... that mark took down a record that had stood since 1997 ... Brett also lowered his indoor open 400m PB to 50.65 in the ACC prelims ... in the IC4A prelims he anchored the Duke 4X400 which ran 3:16.25, just missing the new school record and the IC4A final ... outdoors, Morrell led Duke in the 400 hurdles with a personal best 54.71 in the ACC prelims, and also ran the lead-off leg at the Penn Relays on the Blue Devil sprint medley ... that squad ran 3:28.74, the No. 5 all-time clocking in Duke history ... Morrell also contributed a leg on the 3:15.42 4X400 which placed 6th for Duke at the ACCs in Winston-Salem ...
