Honors: ACC Academic Honor Roll (2015)

2014-15: Indoors, focused on the 60-meter dash and the 200…in the 60, ran a season-best 8.14 to take 29^th in the preliminary heats at the UCS Invitational (2/21)…clocked identical preliminary times of 8.19 at the Hokie Invitational (1/23) and Virginia Tech Elite (2/6), placing 32^nd and 34^th, respectively…competing in the 200, finished 22^nd at the UCS Invitational (2/21) with a converted time of 26.81…Outdoors in the 100-meter dash, captured 13^th in the event at the Duke Invitational (4/11) with a season-best clocking of 12.77…kicked off the spring with a top-10 finish at the Carolina Relays (3/21), placing eighth in the 100 with a 13.03…notched a season-best 26.87 in the 200 at the Carolina Relays (3/20), finishing 15^th overall…named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll.

Prior to Duke: Lettered four years in track & field at Graham High School in Graham, N.C., under the direction of coaches Randy Hall, DJ Brantley, Tony Whitesell and Jameeka Jay...named the 2013-14 Senior Female Athlete of the Year at Graham High School, decided by a collective consensus of all Graham High School coaches…Valedictorian of the 2014 Graham High School graduating class…member of the national honor society…served as student body president and was named Miss Graham High School her senior year…was a drum major for the Graham High School marching band.

Personal: The daughter of Donell and Twyla Sheppard…born Oct. 27, 1996 in Burlington, N.C.…has one brother, Joshua Sheppard.
