2022 - Junior: Played in all 55 games and started 54 of them ... Hit .295 with eight home runs, 11 stolen bases and 34 RBI ... Also drew 20 walks ... Developed a reputation as one of the top nine-hole hitters in the country ... Kicked off her season on fire, driving in four runs in a win over California Baptist on Feb. 11 ... Tallied a seven game hit streak from Feb. 12-19 ... Proved to be a catalyst in the big moments, with three RBI games against ranked Michigan (Feb. 26) and Clemson (Mar. 20) ... Hit a home run in three consecutive games from Apr. 6-9 against UNC Greensboro and Virginia ... Had an enormous week during that stretch, driving in nine runs on six hits ... Was perfect on the basepaths the entire regular season and was voted by her teammates as the Golden Spikes winner ... Led the Blue Devils outfield defense with five outfield assists.
2021 - Sophomore: Started in 37 of 49 games played during her sophomore season … split time at third base, left field and as the designated player … held a .259 clip with 28 hits, including nine extra-base hits, 19 RBIs, 11 walks and five stolen bases … seven multi-hit and five multi-RBIs games on the year … helped the Blue Devils win their first ACC Championship title by bringing in the winning runs in the semifinal (vs. Florida State) and final (vs. Clemson) … put together an eight-game hit streak from April 16 to May 5.
2020 - Freshman: Appeared in 18 games during her rookie campaign before the season was cut short due to CVID-19 ... Started in 12 games ... Finished the season with a .267 batting average with eight hits in 30 at bats, including three home runs ... Racked up 12 RBI and a .633 slugging percentage ... Made her first appearance as a Blue Devil in the season opener against Clemson on Feb. 7 ... Recorded her first collegiate hit and RBI against Indiana on Feb. 15 ... Breakout performance against Rutgers on Feb. 15 as she went 3-for-3 with two home runs and a single-game program record seven RBI - first career home run.
High School/Travel Ball: A four-year letter winner at Sickles High School under the tutelage of Al Bowman ... Showered with honors and awards during her four years at Sickles ... Earned the Heart and Hustle award her first two season with the Gryphons ... Followed that award by being named MVP during her junior season ... Named First Team Western Conference, team scholar and silver slugger award in her final season ... Saw her hitting come to life in her senior season, averaging .439 at the plate with 36 hits and 34 RBI in 27 games ... Her performance pushed Sickles to a regional final in the 2019 FHSAA 8A Championships ... Averaged an over .500 on base percentage line during her junior and senior years ... Personal: Born Kamryn Elise Jackson on Sept. 23, 2000 in Atlanta, Ga. ... Has one brother, Chase ... Dad played baseball at Young Harris from 1993-95 ... Uncle, Chris Summers, played baseball at Andrew Junior College from 1992-94 before transferring to Kennesaw State where he played two years (1995-97) and won the Division II World Series ... Off the field, has been involved with National Honor Society, PTSA club, SERT club and named to the Principals Honor Roll.
