Kevin Siesel rejoined Duke as the head football athletic trainer in May 2025. He previously served at Duke from 2016-18, working as an assistant athletic trainer with the football program.
Before returning to Duke, Siesel was an associate head football athletic trainer at Texas A&M (2018-19) and NC State (2019-25). With the Aggies, he aided the director of athletic training with administrative tasks and football leadership. At NC State, Siesel assisted the head football athletic trainer with all training room operations and logistics.
Siesel’s athletic training background includes roles at Mississippi State as an assistant athletic trainer (2015-16) and at Alabama as a graduate assistant athletic trainer with football (2013-15). He also completed a summer internship with the Detroit Lions.
A 2013 graduate of UCF with a bachelor’s in athletic training, Siesel added a master’s in health studies with a concentration in athletic training from Alabama in 2015. He is an active member in the National Athletic Trainers' Association and the College Athletic Trainers' Society.
